SNAPPIN’ has a program to help you start a group in your area. For a small nominal fee, SNAPPIN’ has a guide and will actually come and assist you with getting your group started. If it is in a church, the pastoral staff must give approval first. Contact us for further information.
This is the most frequently asked, frequently asked question! The organization was originally begun as “The Special Needs Parents Network” at Crosspoint Community Church in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. The pastor wanted a catchier, more memorable name. Take the first letter of each word and the acronym for SNAPPIN’ developed. Besides, if having a child with a special need doesn’t make you feel like you’re going to snap, nothing will!
